Healing Mind, Body & Spirit Through Integrated Therapy
Expert counselling and holistic healing in Ongar, Essex. Combining evidence-based therapy with complementary practices for deeper, lasting transformation.
Welcome to Nurture Your Wellbeing
Sometimes healing requires more than talking. Sometimes it needs a different approach entirely. And sometimes, the most profound transformation happens when we address mind, body, and spirit together.
I’m Angie, and I’ve spent years training in both clinical therapeutic counselling and holistic healing practices because I believe true wellbeing comes from treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, addiction, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a safe, compassionate space where conventional therapy meets ancient healing wisdom.

Why Choose Integrated Therapy Section
The Power of Combining Clinical & Holistic Approaches
Clinical Expertise Meets Holistic Wisdom
With qualifications in CPCAB Level 4 & 5 Therapeutic Counselling, CBT, and specialised training in trauma and addiction, I provide the clinical rigour and evidence-based approaches you’d expect from a qualified therapist.
But I also hold diplomas in Reiki (Master Teacher), Sound Healing, Breathwork, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and foundations in Celtic Shamanism – because sometimes the body holds what words cannot express.
Why This Matters for Your Healing:
- Trauma stored in the body can be released through breathwork, sound healing, and energy work alongside talking therapy
- Anxiety and stress respond powerfully when CBT is combined with reflexology, aromatherapy, and meditation
- Addiction recovery benefits from addressing both psychological patterns and physical/energetic imbalances
- Children often process emotions more effectively through play, art, and gentle holistic therapies than traditional talk therapy alone
You don’t have to choose between conventional therapy and holistic healing. You can! But here, they work together as well.

Common Questions
Do I need to choose between counselling and holistic therapy?
Not at all. Many clients find the most powerful results come from combining approaches. During your free discovery call, we’ll discuss what might work best for you.
What's the difference between CBT and holistic therapies?
CBT is an evidence-based talking therapy that helps change thought patterns and behaviours. Holistic therapies work with your body’s energy and physical systems. Together, they address both mind and body for deeper healing.
Can holistic therapies help with clinical conditions like anxiety or depression?
Holistic therapies are complementary approaches that can support your wellbeing alongside clinical treatment. I’ll always recommend you maintain contact with your GP for serious mental health conditions.
Do you work with children?
Yes, I’m qualified in therapeutic counselling for children using art and play therapy, which are often more effective than traditional talk therapy for young people.
How long does therapy take?
This varies greatly depending on your needs. Some clients find relief in 6-8 sessions, whilst others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll discuss this during your initial consultation.
What can I expect from my first session?
Your first session is a safe space to share your story. We’ll explore what’s brought you here, discuss your goals, and begin to create a personalised treatment plan that feels right for you.
